Ondo workers pray over Akeredolu’s health

Akure Following the prayer sessions held across MDAs in Ondo state few weeks ago as directed by the head of service, Pastor Kayode Ogundele, towards the quick recovery of Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Otunba Wale Akinlosotu said he was optimistic and assured that the prayers have started yielding positive results.

The commissioner gave this assurance at the monthly prayer meeting organised by the ministry.

Akinlosotu who appreciated the staff for the total loyalty, dedication to the governor commended the workers for their commitment to service delivery in the state.

He reiterated that God in His infinite mercy has performed His healing in the life of the governor.

Speaking on the importance of the joint prayer meetings, Akinlosotu said it is an avenue for the staff to gather together at the first working day of each month as one big family to commit the journey of the new month into the hands of God regardless of their religion.

The preacher, Pastor Isaiah Ilesanmi, in his sermon, from the book of 1 Samuel, Chapter 17, verses 39 -49 stated that God’s power is so high that no man can fault it.

He narrated how God through David was able to conquer the uncircumcised Philistine, Goliath who had for long tormented the Israelites.

Ilesanmi charged the staff to be conscious of the”5 KEYS to always pray on which he highlighted as to pray as Unwavering Confidence in God, Absolute Power to Overcome, Key of Praises, Key of Fasting and Key of Total Reliance on the power of God to Overcome every challenges of life.

The aministrative Secretary in the ministry, Mr. Adeyemi Sule welcomed the staff to the new month harped on the importance of the Health Insurance Contributory Scheme, he enjoined the workers to with their Health Relation Officers on update about their information.
