Senior pastor of God’s Grace Revival Gospel Mission Inc, Pastor Johnpraise Ben, has said only God can set the country free from the hopelessness being experienced by Nigerians.
Pastor Ben made this known at the church Easter carnival Sunday at Nyanya Gwandara, Karu local government area of Nasarawa state.
He said theme of this year’s Easter carnival; Hope for the Hopeless was apt because it reflected the true position of things in the country, adding however that, “Jesus Christ is the answer to the challenges being faced by the people”.
The pastor urged Nigerians to fully depend on God “to set us free from the hopeless condition we find ourselves in”, adding: “The only way of doing this is by prayers from every angle”.
The cleric used the occasion to ordain 35 members as pastors, assistance pastors, evangelists, elders, deacons and deaconesses and urged them to use their new offices to work for humanity through emulation of the teaching of Jesus Christ.
“We are not ordaining 419ers, false prophets because prophets today have turned to be 419ers. Your ordination today is for you to go and preach the word of God; preach love, unity and teach them how to love Jesus Christ. Don’t put one of your legs in the church and the other one outside,” Pastor Ben said.
