…Onuh to be named Tornadoes’ new gaffer

Former Heartland and ABS FC coach Erasmus Onuh is set to be named new coach of NPFL side Niger Tornadoes after Abubakar Bala was sacked amid bribery allegations.
Onuh, who played for Niger Tornadoes in 1986, arrived Minna Friday and he is expected to be introduced to the team later today.
“I have no comments to make now,” the coach told SCORENigeria
The 56-year-old Onuh has previously handled Wikki Tourists, Jigawa Golden Stars and OUK FC (now Abia Warriors).
He also played for Sharks and Udoji United.
The Kogi-born coach has previously headed the country’s home-based team and he is well known for working with young players.
Tornadoes will open their NPFL campaign at newly-promoted Kwara United on January 14.
