Ooni of Ife commends Arik Air

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II has commended Arik Air for flying Nigeria’s flag and pledged to use his royal position to get Nigerians to patronize the airline.
The monarch stated this recently when he and a large entourage including some traditional rulers from the South West States flew the airline from Lagos to New York on a tour of America.

Oba Ogunwusi who travelled on board Arik Air’s A330-200 aircraft that departed the international wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos for JF Kennedy Airport, New York said he patronized the airline to prove the point that “you cannot be wrong supporting your own.”

“I am an apostle of made-in-Nigeria and that is why everything you see on me except my wrist watch is hundred per cent made in Nigeria.”
He added that his flying Arik Air with other traditional rulers would bring good fortunes to the airline.
The Ooni’s entourage numbering over 50 had no fewer than 10 other Yoruba traditional rulers from Oyo, Osun and Ekiti states.
