More opportunities for residents in APC – Chieftain

All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftains in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), John Saminaka, has said residents had more dividends of democracy to enjoy in the party. He urged residents not be distracted by the new names of political parties springing up, “rather they should have confidence in the APC led administration, especially the promotion of peaceful coexistence amongst religious and ethnic groups.” Speaking to Blueprint on Sunday on the increasing number of parties in the nation’s capital, Saminaka stated that there was nothing special that can outshine the programmes put in place by the ruling party. According to him, the party’s policy on ensuring that most of the projects that were initiated, but abandoned by the previous administrations are well executed should be commended.
“This administration took off with many abandoned projects, especially infrastructure like the Kuje-Gwagwalada road and Apo-Karshi, that of Kuje has been completed; more projects are ongoing with others still in the pipeline.,” he said. Saminaka, an APC chieftain in Karu under AMAC, disclosed that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Malam Muhammad Musa Bello, was committed to making the provisions that would fast-track the completion of projects “that will have direct bearing on the people.”
