Osho: Why I quit NPFL club, Remo Stars

Coach Fatai Osho has said he quit Remo Stars because he will not work under another coach in Nigeria as that would affect the football philosophy he has worked hard to develop.

Osho stepped down as Remo Stars coach after former Plateau United coach Kennedy Boboye was appointed to boss him.

“I will never work under another coach in Nigeria as this will affect my football philosophy, which I have worked hard on,” he said.

“I want to take responsibility for what I do.”

Osho won Remo Stars a prompt return to the NPFL and insisted he walked out on the team without any bitterness.

“I respect the decision of the owner (Kunle Soname). He’s like a father to me and the team remain close to my heart,” he said.

Osho has headed several clubs including Crown FC and Supreme Court FC.
