Osun 2018: Again, APC postpones primary election

For the umpteenth time, the All Progressives Congress has postponed its primary election for the governorship aspirants slated for today.
The party had earlier slated the primary for July 7 before it was postponed to July 19.
The Director of Publicity, Research and Strategy of the party, Mr Kunle Oyatomi, confirmed the postponement in a statement issued yesterday.
“Due to unforeseen development, the All Progressives Congress in the state of Osun has announced the postponement of the primary to choose its gubernatorial flagbearer for the September 22 election that was supposed to hold tomorrow, July 19, 2018.
“The party regrets this development but promises that sooner than later, a new date will be fixed.
All party members should be at alert,” Oyatomi stated.
Meanwhile, July 23 is the deadline for the political parties to submit names of their candidate
