Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola, yesterday promised to bring more infrastructure to the state in the remaining one year of his administration.
The Governor, who made the promise in a state television broadcast, marking the 7th anniversary of his government in the state, also promised to leave a good legacy in areas of human development, stressing that he would produce a successor that would continue the work he has started.
“In the remaining one year, I will be committed more to serving you, to accelerate the pace of development and increase our efforts at ushering in prosperity to the government and people.
“We will leave a good and enviable legacy in education, physical infrastructure and all aspects of human development. We will also do our best to bequeath a worthy legacy successor that will continue the works we have started in the best tradition of progressive leadership. We will not leave you exposed and helpless before the wolves.
He specifically praised the state workers saying, “these past seven years, I have been privileged to work with and be supported by a host of people. The first of which are the wonderful, dutiful and godly workers of the state government. Your sacrifice, understanding and commitment to duty made it possible for our administration to make much impact. I am very grateful”, he said.
He lauded his party the APC, workers and traditional rulers for their support.
