Osun monarch, Olufon joins ancestors


A traditional ruler in Osun state, Olufon of Ifon-Osun, in Orolu local government, Oba Almorouf Adekunle Magbagbeola, has reportedly joined his ancestors. 


Residents of the town had gathered at the palace of Olufon upon hearing the rumour of the monarch’s demise. 


A source said the monarch left for the great beyond on Monday. 


The monarch was ascended the throne in May 2007 and became the Chairman of Orolu/Irepodun local government. 


He was also the vice Chairman of traditional rulers in Osun. 


He was the administrative supervisor at the NNPC before his ascension to the throne.
