Otti seeks to govern Abia from Lagos, says Ememanka

All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) 2019 governorship candidate Dr Alex Otti is seeking to illegitimately govern Abia state from his base in Lagos.

The APGA candidate in the governorship election held on March 9, has in the process demonstrated complete ignorance of the prevailing political situation and governance in the state.

This assertion was made by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Okezie IKpeazu, Mr Onyebuchi Ememanka, at a press briefing Tuesday.

He said APGA governorship candidate neither lives in Abia nor has any business interest in the state, a situation that makes him totally uninformed about economic activities in Abia state.

According to him, Otti’s lack of proper information and disconnect with the realities of things in the state has led to his persistent undue attack of the PDP led government.

Ememanka said though the state government is not against vibrant opposition that keeps the government on toes, it however rejects lies by someone that has been persistent rejection rejected and ignored by the Abia state electorate.

He maintained that it was the government would continue to ignore any unsubstantiated claims meant to distract the focused administration of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.

He also punctured Otti’s claim that there is no Rice Mill in Abia, noting that the governor established four cottage rice mills to alleviate the suffering of Abia women who usually travel to neighbouring states for milling.
