Overland Air Nigeria resumes flight in Jigawa

The deputy governor of Jigawa state, Alhaji Umar Namad, has said the state has so many things to export to other parts of Nigeria.

The deputy governor stated this Monday at the brief Overland Air Nigeria inaugural ceremony held at Dutse International Airport.

He said the state government deems it necessary to put the airport into proper use so that both the state and the owners of the Overland Air Nigeria could benefit.

“This will improve the businesses in the state and so many important things will come to the state and so many things will also go to the Overland Air Nigeria.

“All the agreements entered with the air company will be implemented accordingly and the governor has promised to sustain the flight,” he said.

He also stated that the state government will do everything possible to talk to neighbouring states and investors to patronise the flight.

The owner of the flight, Captain Edward Boyo, said the flight will be coming to Dutse three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
