PAL takes financial literacy to varsities




Pensions Alliance Limited (PAL) has launched a youth-focused campaign tagged “NextU”, across five universities in Nigeria, as part of efforts to create value for Nigerians. ‘NextU’ is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative focused on providing knowledge and guidance under the “Creating The Future” for young people on career, investment and life choices.
Olusola Amusan, Tomi Balogun, Seyi Law, Shola Akinlade, Otto Orondaam, and Kunle Idowu (Frank Donga) were among the more than 10 facilitators, who spoke to more than 11,000 students of the University of Lagos, University of Benin, University of Port Harcourt, Obafemi Awolowo University and Ahmadu Bello University.
The speakers and panelists, who spoke on various issues like financial Literacy, investment, employability, career growth, entrepreneurship and art/ creativity; gave the students’ tips on how to be successful in their career, business, management of funds and invest wisely with small funds.
The students were thrilled by performances from the award winning musician- Orezi, who has consistently proven himself through sheer determination and handwork, a quality that brings the ‘NextU’ idea to life.
