Parker: I’ve ‘the secret code’ for Joshua’s downfall

Joseph Parker claims he can use Anthony Joshua’s finest moment to mastermind his downfall.

Parker has Joshua’s epic Wembley win over Wladimir Klitschko playing on a continuous loop when he trains at David Haye’s gym in south London.

Although Joshua stopped Klitschko to unify the WBA Super and IBF belts, Parker feels he showed flaws he can exploit when they clash at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium next Saturday.

Parker, minus his goatee beard and sporting a Peaky Blinders cap, was relaxed at his press conference on Friday at his south London base, overlooking Westminster.

He showed as many faces as Big Ben and said in one breath he respects Joshua before taunting him in the next, claiming he is copying him by coming in lighter for their unification showdown.

Joshua hopes to be around a stone lighter than the 18st 2lbs he weighed for the Carlos Takam fight in an attempt to be more mobile.
Parker, 26, who is 24-0 with 18 stoppages, aimed another jab at Joshua, branding him “boring” because he rarely says anything interesting.
He was pleased he reportedly said he doesn’t like him because he feels it shows he is getting under his skin.

Parker also accused Joshua of looking past him because he is constantly talking about fighting WBC champ Deontay Wilder.

Parker and his camp are seizing on any advantage, real or imagined, and he has been inspired by New Zealand’s demolition of England for just 58 runs in the First Test.
