The President of Nasarawa State Youth Forum (NSYF) Kaduna state chapter, Mr. Danjuma Ewuga, has called on the major political parties in Nasarawa State to zone the governorship ticket to Akwanga zone in 2019.
Mr. Ewuga explained that “Keffi and Lafia zones have produced governors, and that for the sake of fairness and equity the next governor should come from Akwanga zone.
Also, the forum has urged Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura not to sell state properties in Kaduna and Lagos, instead suggested that those properties be protected and put into use for the benefit of the state.
“Selling of those properties would amount to waste of resources. These properties must be left intact and refurbished for the posterity. The properties must be left as a legacy for the generation yet unborn,” he said.
Also, he called on the people of Nasarawa State to live in peace with one another for the overall development of the state. He also urged the youths to be law abiding and to shun any form of violence.
