Not a few Nigerians applauded the federal government when it put on stream the N Power Programme to address unemployment of the teeming Nigerian graduates.
A lease of hope appeared on the horizon when the first of the scheme began work by December 2016. We are already 12 months into the scheme, investigations have revealed that a very negligible percentage of the beneficiaries have been paid up to date while a multiple of the beneficiaries are only keeping hope alive that they will be paid.
This calls for a very sober reflection and thorough auditing to ascertain who and who could be responsible for shortchanging the hapless N Power beneficiaries. Justice delayed is justice denied.
