PDP chances fades in Yobe as Chairman moves to APC

There are indications that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Yobe
state will go to polls on Saturday without a leader, after its chairman
Alhaji Sani Inuwa Nguru decamped to the ruling party All
Progressives Congress (APC).

The former PDP Chairman might not have been formally received at his
ward, local government and state levels of the party, but pledged his
allegiance to President Buhari and his party on Thursday in Abuja.

Nguru was a former Yobe State Chairman of defunct ANPP,
pioneer chairman of APC in Yobe state before defecting to PDP in 2014
and has now taken a u-turn to his former party.
