PDP crisis: Wike summons stakeholders’ meeting

The Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike, has summoned a meeting of leaders and stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state.

Blueprint learnt that Wike may speak more on the feud between him and the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

Atiku had in a response to Wike’s team on Wednesday said nobody could force the National Chairman of the party Senator Iyorchia Ayu, to resign his position.

The meeting is the first in the state since the party’s presidential primary and the crisis that followed its outcome.

Though the agenda of the meeting could not be ascertained, as at the time of filling the report.

Expected at the meeting are party leaders, members of the state executive council, and the party’s local government chairmen.
