PDP has been vindicated in Kogi, says Ogunmola

The Kogi state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described the recent outburst by the state deputy governor, Simon Achuba, on insecurity and other sundry issues in the state as a vindication to the party.

In a statement signed by the PDP state publicity secretary, Bode Ogunmola, in Lokoja Monday, the party said the fragile security situation in Kogi under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello has been corroborated by the deputy governor statement.

According to the statement, the All Progressives Congress (APC) led administration has failed the people of the state, adding that by the recent declaration of the complicity of Bello in the insecurity situation in the state during an interview, the Bello-led APC administration has failed and it should be sent packing in the forthcoming governorship election slated for November 16.

The party said it was obvious and clear to the world that the PDP was not just criticizing the government instead was making a statement of fact that the government has brought poverty and hardships on the people.

“Apart from the fact that the state is been governed by inexperience young men, they also do not have human feeling. The deputy governor has confirmed that workers salaries were not paid and he scored the government low for non performance.

“We, therefore, urged the Kogi APC not to reinforce failure but to vote the PDP into power come November 16th for freedom, liberty and progress”, the party stated.
