PDP pledges equal treatment for returnee members

The Cross River State chapter of the People Democratic Party (PDP) has assured former members that defected to other parties and but later returned to the fold of fair and equal treatment.
The state chairman of the party, Hon. Ntufam Edim Inok, gave the assurance at Transcorp Hotel Calabar when he officially received Hon. Sandy Onor, who had left PDP about two years ago to Labour Party but has rejoined the party.
“Sandy Onor is a full complete member of PDP family. I am happy to receive him back and he would not be regarded as a defector. All privileges and opportunities in the party would be given to him because he is a respected family member from ward to the state level. I hereby welcome him back”
In his remarks, Onor explained that he left the party for an inspection and that as a young man he needed to go out for adventure and asked for forgiveness if he had offended the party.
The former Etung Local Government chairman also said that he was a believer of rebranding going on in the party and assured the leadership of the party of his cooperation.
Further, he said that managing crises in the party should not be a one man affair but a collective team work.
