PDP ready to rescue Nigeria from APC misrule – Secondus

The national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, says the party is well repositioned and prepared to rescue Nigeria from untold  hunger, poverty and killings that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has subjected the citizens into.

The national chairman, who disclosed this on Wednesday in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State capital during a rally to mark Governor Henry Seriake Dickson’s 6th year in office, also warned all state chairmen of the party not bar any member who had left the party from returning back to help the party reclaim power at the national level and take away the present suffering from Nigerians.

He said, “PDP is getting stronger everyday, we will rebrand, rebuild and reposition our party to reclaim our position, which was mistakenly given to a confused party called APC by Nigerians in 2015, as you can see, all our eleven governors in their various states are performing excellently, they are the true example of nation builders.”

He however expressed fears over Independent National Electoral Commission’s readiness to conduct a credible election in 2019 which will ensure victory for the party, adding that the party will resist any attempt to use federal government institutions such as INEC, Police, Army and other security organizations to rig the general election.

Secondus also stated that APC as broken as it is for now, is full of confusion, because their brooms have brought vengeance, hunger, poverty and killings on Nigerians.

The PDP national chairman who used the opportunity to received the former party members who had defected to APC prior to 2015 election back to the party, also commissioned a new boat pavilion built by Governor Dickson’s administration .
