PDP Reps candidate asks court to disqualify opponents over forgery

A member representing Afikpo  north/ South federal constituency, Hon. Iduma Igariwey has filed suits contesting the academic qualifications of Pharmacist Anthony Ekoh of All Progressives Congress (APC) and Maria Ude Nwachi of  Alliance for New Nigeria(ANN) at federal High court Abakaliki.

Both Ude Nwachi and Eko are contesting to represent same constituency at the House of Representatives.

Igariwey who is of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), through his counsel, Chief Paul Ananaba(SAN)  urged the court to disqualify the duo from contesting , alleging that their credentials which they submitted in affidavits to INEC are fake.

The PDP candidate is also asking the court to make an order barring APC and ANN from substituting Ekoh and Nwachi.

The suit on Nwachi is  marked suit no  FHC/ABJ/CS/1604/2018 between Hon. Igariwey Iduma Enwo (plaintiff), Maria Ude Nwachi, ANN, INEC(Respondents) while that of Ekoh is marked FHC/ABJ/1605/2018 between Hon. Iduma Igariwey Enwo(plaintiff),  Ogbonnia Anthony Ekoh, APC and INEC(Respondents).
