Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Youth Ambassadors Network and Makarfi Support Group rose from a joint meeting in Abuja to commend the party for the success of the recently concluded Nonelective National convention. A communiqué issued at the end of the meeting and signed by HON. Gbenga Ajayi, the National Coordinator of PDP Youth Ambassadors Network and Comrade Ishaku F. Nok, said the National convention has Set the pace for the transformation and reposition of the party.
“We commend the National caretaker committee and the convention planning committee of the party for the success recorded at the convention. We strongly believe in the leadership sagacity of the National caretaker committee which can make PDP more vibrant and victorious in the forthcoming elections. Th e groups said having assessed the performance of the National caretaker committee; they are convinced that the resolutions at the convention would be diligently executed. ‘’After appraising the resolutions of the convention, we suggest a free, fair and transparent congresses in the seven states the convention dissolved their executives. “Our party is in dire need of new direction of democratic governance devoid of impunity, corruption and imposition, and we, therefore, urge party members irrespective of status to abide by the constitution of the party and its rules and regulations. We appeal to party members to exhaust all available processes within the party in resolving all disputes and grievances rather than turning to courts for injunctions in matters that could be fairly resolved in the best interest of all parties concerned.
