Pension for state assembly speakers?

Should Speakers and Deputy Speakers of state Houses of Assembly get pensions as well? Methinks they should get pension only based on their contributions.
The new pension law provides that the people contribute alongside with their employers, hence their pension. The old pension scheme demands 10 years of service for one to be pensionable, so the politicians in their two tenures in office are not even eligible for pension, but because in Nigeria the laws are made by the superiors for the inferiors to obey, anything goes.
In observance of policies, they should not get pension.
