“She has recorded so much in a little time. She set up an independent committee that saw to an end to casualization. She laid a solid foundation to what PTAD is today.

She is a very passionate person who came in with the desire to effect social justice and was guided by that popular refrain in our national anthem which says that ‘the labour of heroes past shall never be in vain.’

“She led the way from the front. And if you see your boss doing this, who are you to do otherwise? She has cleared all the arrears of pensions of the Nigerian Customs, Nigeria Immigration and Nigerian Prisons. The loss of PTAD is the gain of the Environment Ministry,” he said

PTAD was established in line with the provisions of Section 30 (2) (a) of the Pension Reform Act of 2004 to manage defunct pension offices of Civil Service, Police, Custom, Immigration and Prisons as well as treasury-funded federal governmental parastatals.
