Pharmaceutical society donates sanitisers to Taraba govt

In a bid to curtail the spread of coronavirus, the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), Taraba state chapter,  Monday presented  hand sanitisers worth millions of naira to the Taraba state government and hospitals.

Chairman of PSN, Taraba state chapter, Mr. Samuel Boyi, while presenting the items explained that the donation was necessary, following the traumatising situation the nation is passing through.

The chairman presented the hand sanitisers to the chairman of the committee against the spread of COVID-19 in the state, Dr. Innocent Vakia.

He added that Taraba had not recorded any case of the virus for now, adding that it was however pertinent for the people to maintain personal hygiene.

 He informed that the state chapter of the Society locally produced the hand sanitisers and donated some to the Federal Medical Centre, specialist hospital and other public institutions in the state.
