The Independent Electoral commission (INEC) on Wednesday unveiled over 1.8 million new permanent voters cards.
INEC chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, unveiled the new cards in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
The new cards will identify the holders’ data, finger prints and face.
Electorates who registered between January and March can claim their cards in person.
