Former President Olusegun Obasanjo prostrated to greet the new Olowu of Owu Kingdom in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital.
The Olowu-elect is Oba Professor Saka Matemilola who has entered mandatory seclusion ahead of his coronation.
It is customary for subjects to prostrate before their traditional rulers and religious leaders especially in the southwest region of Nigeria.
