Pictures: Aviation workers begin protest in Abuja

Aviation workers Monday embarked on protest in Abuja, to demand the removal of the Essential Services clauses from the Bills and Acts of Aviation Agencies.

They held banners and placards one of which read: ‘Buhari, don’t assent to anti-union aviation bills/acts.’

The unions are the National Union of Air Transport Employees; the Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria; Association of Nigerian Association Professionals; Amalgamated Unions of Public Corporations; Civil Service Technical & Recreational Services Employees, and the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers.
