Twin explosions rocked the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign rally at Rumuwoji Playground in Port Harcourt Rivers state on Thursday, January 19, 2023.
Blueprint gathered that the tragedy left at least three people injured.
A resident who pleaded anonymity said, “The explosion came with a loud bang and some persons were injured. The party officials had altercation with the youths of the community over access to the venue of the rally before the explosion occurred.”
Confirming the incident, the Rivers state Publicity Secretary of APC , Darlington Nwauju, said a statement will be issued.
