In an effort to ease traffic congestion within Lagos state, the state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Wednesday inaugurated the Blue Line Rail in the state.
The Senior Special Assistant on New Media, to the governor, Jubril Gawat, in a tweet said the first phase of the infrastructure works for the rail project (Marina to Mile 2) has been completed.
The blue line is one of seven Lagos metro rail lines, spanning from Marina to Okokomaiko.
