Plateau pilgrims board releases N1.5m hajj fare

The Plateau state Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board (PSMPWB) has said intending pilgrims from the State will pay the sum of, N1,519,513.10, for the 2019, hajj operation.

The Board’s executive Secretary, Ustaz Auwal Abdullahi Esq, stated this in a press release Monday, in Jos.

According to the board’s Information Officer, Sanusi Suleiman Namu, all intending pilgrims that have made earlier deposits, should endeavour to complete their fare, while those that have not done so should commence their payment.

He said, “Each pilgrim will be given 800 dollars,  basic travelling allowance (BTA), while hajj returnees will pay additional sum of 2000 Saudi Riyals, equivalent to N 164, 000.”
