The Nigeria football community on Wednesday congratulated Mikel Agu as he celebrates his birthday.
In a message, the President of National Association of Nigerian Professional Footballers (NANPF) Tijani Babangida thanked God for the life of Agu.
“We want to take this opportunity to wish him a happy birthday. We at the players union join the Nigerian football community to celebrate him. We pray that God will continue to guard, protect and bless him, to the betterment of Nigeria and Africa “the former Ajax Amsterdam winger remarked”.
Mikel Agu’s foundation had distributed food items and cash as palliatives in Delta state to help cushion the pains of the lockdown as occasioned by the Covid-19 pandemic.
