PMB, APC and my concern

My father, whom I respect so much, Awunah Daniel, a retired Assistant Superintendent of Police, told me that when Buhari was the head of state, he introduced a war against indiscipline and that aff ected many people in places of authority. My father concluded by saying that Buhari can still do something reasonable if he is given an opportunity. Th ereafter, my friend, Alhaji Kamal Usman Sami, told me that Buhari jailed his father when he was the head of state but his vote is for Buhari because he believed that if retired General Buhari is given an opportunity, he can do something that would benefi t the poor people in the country.

Th en, I was having a hope that if Buhari can be voted in as the president of this nation, the poor people would be happy. Are the poor people happy now? When are the poor people going to be happy in this country? When is our government going to perform her duties and responsibilities in our country? When can terrorists stop killing us? When can we get stable power supply? When can our hospitals be put to order? When can our leaders stop going to other countries for medical treatment? When can our roads be good? When can our schools stop going on strike? When can our leaders stop embezzling the public funds? When can we not experience poverty in this country? When can our leaders stop using us as manure for their own growth? When can we stop fi ghting and killing one another in the name of religion? When can our leaders do away with corruption? When can we see ourselves as one? When can jobs be made available for the unemployed youths of our nation and so on? Awunah Pius Terwase, Mpape, Abuja
