Police arrest 3 for ‘robbery’ in Enugu

Enugu state Police Command has arrested three young men for allegedly robbing and dispossessing the occupants of a hostel at Agbani, Nkanu West local government area of the state.
The Police recovered 1 barrel gun and cartridges from the hoodlums.
The suspects, Ndubuisi Nwaodo, 21, hailed from Ugbawka in Nkanu East, Nnaji Ugochukwu, 21, Akpugo Nkanu West, and Ajachukwu Egbuka, 21, Nkerefi Nkanu East local government area, all in Enugu state, were arrested by Agbani police district on Sunday, after allegedly robbing the tenants of Blue Hostel on Saturday in Agbani.
It was gathered that all the suspects reside at Agbani environs.
Confirming the arrest, Police Public Relations Officer, Ebere Amarizu, said that the suspects were arrested in connection with the robbery incident.
Amaraizu disclosed that investigation on the matter was ongoing, adding: “we made arrest in connection with that robbery and recovered a gun.
We are investigating the matter.”
