Police arrest four kidnapers in Gombe

Gombe state Police Command has arrested four suspected kidnappers terrorizing communities in Gombe and Borno states.

This was contained in a press statement signed and made available to Journalists in Gombe on Wednesday by the command’s spokesperson SP. Obed Mary Malum.

She said the suspects were traced and arrested by the Command’s Special Anti-robbery Squad operatives in collaboration with hunters based on intelligence reports

The suspects were identified as Babangida Abdullahi 40-years-old and Suleiman Ibrahim, 37-years-old both of Sabon Layi Awak in kaltunho local government area.

Others are Ali Haruna of Tudun Kwaya of Billiri local government area and Isa Dabo of Daddare village in Balanga local government area all in Gombe state.

Malum further said the suspects have confessed to series of kidnapping in Gombe and Borno state.

She said two AK46 rifles, one locally made revolver pistol, a locally made rifle and 60 rounds of AK47 live ammunition we’re recovered from the suspects.
