Police nab 12 in Jigawa for homicide, theft

In its commitment to unravel criminals and douse negative activities, the Jigawa Command of the Nigeria Police said it has apprehended 12 persons in connection with homicide, theft and house breaking.
Parading the suspects before the press yesterday, the state Police Commissioner, Mr.
Bala Zama Senchi, disclosed that his men and officer, during a tip off , arrested one Iliyasu Sale, 40, for allegedly conniving with his biological son, Dotti Sale of Fanisau village, Dutse local government of the state now at large.
He allegedly descended on one Muhammad Ubale, 50, and beat him to death and dumped his corpse in the well.
He said, on a tip off, operatives of the Federal SARS succeeded in breaking a notorious syndicate of motorcycle thieves who specialised in stealing motorcycles in Jigawa state and disposed them in Abuja.
He added that the first suspect, Basiru Ado, 24, of Sara town, Gwaram local government area, was apprehended with a red boxer motorcycle.
