Police parade 4 poly students over robbery

Four armed robbery suspects identified to be students of Federal Polytechnic, Offa, Kwara state, have been arrested by men of Kwara state police command.
The state Commissioner of Police, Ambrose Aisabor, who paraded the suspects along three others before journalists in Ilorin yesterday, added that the students on interrogation, confessed to be members of Eiye Confraternity cult group.
He gave their names as Olawuyi Babtunde, Osadahin Matthew, Bamikole Emmanuel and Adebisi, adding that the case would be charged to court after investigation is concluded.

The police boss, who said one of the suspects was a neighbour to the victim, expressed concern over alleged involvement of students of tertiary institutions criminal acts.
The police command said it also recovered two AK 47 rifles which were dropped by hoodlums in a bush behind the Federal Polytechnic, Offa, while being given a hot chase by officers of the command.
