Police release Offa ‘robbers’ pictures

 

Nigeria Police, yesterday, released pictures of four of the suspected perpetrators of the multiple robbery in Offa, Kwara state that led to the death of at least 17 people including nine police officers.

A press statement by the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), ACP Jimoh Moshood, in Abuja, said the suspects had been placed on INTERPOL watch list, just as the Kwara state government has offered a N5 million bounty for information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects.

According to Moshood: “All the suspects are cooperating with the Police in the investigation. Currently, some of the other gang leaders and principal suspects at large are being identified and their pictures obtained for further investigation.

“Other sister security and safety agencies are equally implored to arrest them and hand over to the nearest Police Station or Formation across the country or avail the Police with any information they may have or come across about these suspects.”
