Power outage mars electoral tribunal sitting in Ebonyi

The House of Representatives electoral tribunal sitting in Abakaliki was Monday marred by power outage.

The hearing which commenced on Monday at state judicial complex has Hon. Justice S.H Aprioku  as Chairman of  the tribunal could not continue for lack of power supply at the court room.

The court room which had supporters of comrade Chinedu Ogah of All Progressive congress(APC) and Honorable Lazarus Ogbe of Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) both of whom contested to represent Ikwo/Ezza south federal constituency at the Green chambers was unbearable as a result of power outage. 

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had on the 25th of February 2019 declared the candidate of PDP, Hon Lazarus Ogbe winner of the Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency which prompted the candidate APC, Comrade Chinedu Ogah to approach the tribunal.
