Premium Pensions donates 1, 000 kits to safe school project

Premium Pension Limited, a leading pension fund administrator company licensed by the National Pension Commission, has donated 1, 000 safe school kits for distribution to schools across the country.
In a statement in Kano, the National Task Team Leader, Safe School   Manual Project, Mr. Ike Oyenchere, said the safe school kit contained a 144-page safe school manual, safe school instructional video DVD, Audio CD and hand sanitiser.
He said the distribution of the kits donated by Premium Pension commenced on October 28, 2014, at Emerald Hotel, Gombe as part of the Pension and Safe School zonal workshops, adding that 300 kits were distributed to schools in the northwest at Central Hotel Kano on October 30, 2014 (yesterday).

He said the programme had two core objectives and that the first objectives was to empower school with comprehensive body of knowledge on safety and security tips, precautions and best practices, adding that the second objective was to promote the deployment of contributory pension scheme.

He further revealed that the Safe School Manual Project was launched on August 1, 2014, at the National Universities Commission (NUC) with the support of Nigeria Police Force, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, National Emergency Management Agency, Federal Fire Service and the Association of General and Private Medical Practitioners of Nigeria.
The programme he added, was facilitated by Exam Ethics Marshals International, a non-governmental organisation, dedicated to the promotion of best practices in education and coordinated by a National Task Team.
