Principal of Junior Secondary School (JSS), Zuba, in Gwagwalada area council, has charged the students to be discipline.
He gave the charge recently at an orientation lecture organised by the school Authority for the newly admitted JSS 1 students of the school aimed grooming them to be good citizens to enable them contribute their quota to the progress and development of the country.
He said he was committed to the promotion of academic activities in the school, in addition to students’ discipline and to enhance extra-curricular activities.
The principal warned the students to avoid going against the school’s rules and regulations.
Abdulrahaman, who is also the FCT President of the All Nigeria Conference of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPSS), said the orientation was aimed at instilling discipline into the minds of the young ones.
He also implored parents to always monitor the movement of their wards at all times, even as he charged the teachers to continue to impact the requisite knowledge as well to groom the students to enable them to contribute positively to nation-building.
In their separate lectures, Mrs. Precious Garba and Mrs. Victoria Bassey sensitised the students on the significance of continuous assessment and the need for interactions with the school’s guidance and counsellor.
