The PDP National Youth Vanguards has commended Bauchi state governor Bala Mohammed for facilitating the establishment of Nigerian Airforce University and Petroleum Institute in the state by the federal government.
Bauchi state chapter of the group made the commendation in a press release issued by its treasurer Mr Khalid Barau Ningi, Sunday in Bauchi.
He said the governor has since his inception been prioritizing the education sector by facilitating funds and educational interventions from donors.
“We unanimously commended the governor for his unrelenting commitment in moving the sector to greater heights.
“It is no more a secret that Governor Mohammmed fast tracked and facilitated the process for the immediate verification of students for their bursary allowances.
“The Governor plays a vital role in the establishment of Nigerian Airforce University, Petroleum Skills acquisition training institute, and ICT Model school in the state”. He said.
The political group also hailed Bala for the recent directive for reconstruction and rehabilitation of primary and secondary schools across the state.
