By launching  a charity foundation, ‘Ray of Hope’ that is aimed at helping the less privileged and the needy, a popular Kannywood actress, Rahama Sadau has joined the philanthropic club of the likes of Aliko Dangote, TY Danjuma rtrd and many other highly spirited individuals that have cared for the downtrodden and the needy in the society.
It could be recalled that recently, Rahama visited and distributed food items including bags of rice, cartons of spaghetti, Milk and sugar to internally displace persons (IDPs) camp in Kyauta village, Kaduna state and motherless home at Unguwan Rimi.
Speaking after the donation, Rahama said she was doing this because she believed God gave her what she has now for a reason.

“Before I say anything, I must a ppreciate and applaud actor Adam Zango who out of his busy schedule, sacrifices his energy, time and donate heavily his money to see we had a great outing.”
“I cannot tell how happy I get anytime I give out something to persons in need. As far as I will get I will surely give Insha’Allah.” Rahama said
She also thanked all the people that supported her in making the visit to Kyauta IDPs camp a success.
According to her, Ray of Hope Foundation was born out of her passion to serve as an instrument of hope to the hopeless, a mentor to the youths, and a role model to those looking forward to a brighter tomorrow.
“Similary other outreach programs we have conducted in small communities in and around the country have reaffirmed that women and girls are being overlooked, neglected even, because they are regarded as second class citizens. This way of thinking needs to be extinguished.  Now is the time to reverse this,” she stressed.
