RAMADAN: Katsina commissioner assists 3,104 constituents

Katsina state Commissioner of Environment, Alhaji Hamza Sule Faskari, has assisted 3,104 vulnerable persons in four local government areas of the state with N23 million.

The assistance was specifically given to the beneficiaries to ease their financial hardship during the Ramadan period.

Speaking during the occasion to hand over the support to the beneficiaries weekend in Faskari, Alhaji Hamza Sule stated that the beneficiaries were carefully selected from Faskari, Sabuwa, Kankara, Dandume and some parts of Funtua local governments.

He added that: “We are here to compliment the efforts of our leader, Katsina state governor, Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari, in alleviating people’s suffering, especially during the Holy month of Ramadan.”

Faskari similarly thanked the Almighty Allah and Katsina state governor for the improvement of security in the troubled areas of the state.

“Governor Masari has been showing concerns over the insecurity in our area. His government has been doing its best to make sure normalcy is returned in the area,” he said.

He called on residents to use the special month of Ramadan to pray for leaders, security agencies and for peace to return to the area.

Faskari also thanked the wife of the state governor, Hajiya Hadiza Aminu Bello Masari, who personally attended the occasion.

In a remark, the vice-chairman of APC, Funtua zone, Alhaji Bala Abu Musawa, commended the commissioner for the kind gesture.
