Ramadan: Sule congratulates Muslim Ummah, calls for prayers

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state has congratulated Muslims Ummah for the commencement of this year’s Ramadan fast.

He congratulated faithfuls in a statement personally signed and made available to newsmen in Lafia Tuesday.

The statement stated that: “I , Abdullahi A. Sule, on behalf of the government and good people of Nasarawa state wish congratulate the Muslim ummah in the state and beyond on the commencement of the 2021 Ramadan.”

He prayed that believers will seize the opportunity of immense reward that abounds in the month to do good for their families, communities and the people.

While seeking forgiveness, blessings and favour of Allah through devotion and supplications, Governor Sule urged Muslims to pray for peace and prosperity of the state and Nigeria at large.

“During the month of Ramadan, congregational prayers are encouraged. Let me adviced that worshippers should abide by COVID- 19 protocol at all times.”

He prayed Allah to reward the acts of worship and sacrifice while strengthening the bond of brotherhood amongst the people of the state.
