Rangers sign ex-Super Eagles players Nwofor, Uzochukwu

Seven-time Nigeria Professional Football League champions Enugu Rangers have signed former Super Eagles forward Uche Nwofor till the rest of the season.
The Flying Antelopes have also announced the acquisition of midfielder Ugonna Uzochukwu on a short-term deal.
Nwofor and Uzochukwu are back for their second stints at the Enugu club following impressive spells in the past.
“We have signed on Ex- Super Eagles striker Uche Nwofor and Ugonna Uzochukwu who was part of the CHAN team in 2014 till the end of the season,” the club announced on their Twitter handle on Wednesday.
Nwofor, 26, played for Rangers in the 2010/2011 season before securing a move to Dutch club VVV Venlo.
He last played for Slovakia club AS Trencin where he scored two goals in 17 appearances.
Nsofor was a surprise inclusion in the Super Eagles squad to the Brazil 2014 World Cup, playing twice as a substitute as the team reached the second round. He last played for the Super Eagles in September 2014.
