Re-run: Peaceful, chaotic guber election in parts of Kano


Despite the reported violence in some areas, the scheduled kano state governorship rerun, is going on peacefully  in some part of the state.


Our reporter observed that in one of the ward Yelwa Secondary school where incumbent member of House Representatives, Ali Madaki who lost the Kano central Senatorial seat voted, was marred with violence.


In Gama where the highest votes is, security agents arrested some thugs of the two major political parties.


In areas like Dawakin Tofa local government, Rogo, Bichi, Karaye, Rimin Gado and other locals governments in the outskirt of the city as at the time of filling this report elections were ongoing successfully without hitch.


Idris Ibrahim a voter in Rimin Gado told our correspondent, that he voted without any form of intimidation from anybody.


“Here in Rimin Gado, election materials arrived early, as you can see we are voting peaceful without any hitch we thank God.”
