Very reliable sources within the Athletics Federation of Nigeria and Nigeria sports circle have confirmed that the Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare may have directed the immediate recall back to the country of the technical director of the AFN Sunday Adeleye over glaring administrative lapses and violation of the rules and regulations of the IAAF.
The duo of Divine Oduduru and Blessing Okagbare, both medal hopefuls, stand disqualified for not showing up for the 100m they have been entered for albeit the athletes had informed the AFN they would not be running in the blue ribband race.
