Reject APC, PDP now, Kwankwaso tells Nigerians

The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) presidential candidate, Dr Rabiu Kwankwaso, on Tuesday asked Nigerians to reject both the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in this year’s general elections.

Dr Kwankwaso said this in Ibadan while featuring on Fresh FM Ibadan live programme as part of activities lined up for the NNPP South West zonal rally.

According to the ANPP presidential candidate, if Nigerians should allow the APC and PDP to continue ruling the country, “only God knows what will happen to Nigeria.”

He stressed that all the prevailing problem rocking the country started with the PDP and the APC hence the need for Nigerians to reject the two political parties.

Dr Kwankwaso pointed out that Nigeria is now at critical stage and didn’t need anyone from either the APC or PDP any longer, adding, “Nigeria as a country deserve much better leaders unlike what we are presently having under the ruling APC and the PDP.”

He emphasised that as at present, both the APC and PDP “are dead political parties having disappointed Nigerians”.

Kwankwaso warned Nigerians against falling prey of religious and tribal sentiments in the coming general elections, adding that Nigeria had a lot of issues in the country and that anyone campaigning on ethnicity and religion would lose the election.

Emphasising that Nigeria deserve a “much better leadership”, Dr Kwankwaso tasked Nigerians to focus on credibility, saying “Nigeria needs the best, let us have the best”.

On NNPP, Dr Kwankwaso stressed that the party was making tremendous progress and that the party was a party to beat in the country as at present.

“APC and PDP cannot offer Nigeria anything again. Some of them are having issues, some of having personality issues. Let’s go and do the right thing.”
