A Kano-based businessman and industrialist, Alhaji Shittu Sani Marshal, has called for the immediate removal of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. John  Idigie-Oyegun, for incompetence and dragging the reputation of the APC-led government into disrepute.

Speaking to newsmen in Kano yesterday, Marshal said Oyegun and his cohorts had constituted a serious nuisance to the operations of the Buhari administration, playing into the hands of a cabal that does not wish Nigeria any good lamenting that with them running the affairs of government, Nigeria was drifting to precipice.
He said those who had worked for the success of the APC at the polls during the 2015 general elections, were the one paying a price, having been grossly marginalised, stressing that those who had worked to scuttle its victory were the ones presently benefitting from its victory.
He pointed out that with the nation’s economy reeling in the ropes of severe recession, there was the urgent need for the Buhari administration to come up with some palliatives to cushion the difficulty Nigerians were facing, noting that with the old guards playing their cards, nothing would be achieved.
